The ZEISS SUPREME RADIANCE PRIMES are a set of 11 full frame prime lenses with focal lengths of 18mm, 21mm, 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 85mm, 100mm, 135mm – all with a T-Stop of T1.5. The matching Radiance Zooms are coming soon!
The Supreme Radiance Primes each have a PL mount and are designed to cover the latest full frame sensors such as Alexa LF, Sony Venice, and Red Monstro. The main distinction between the Supreme Primes and the Radiance Supremes is in the coating: the Radiance Primes are specially made to accentuate and control lens flares, while allowing for a warmer look. They are lightweight and compact with matched focus and iris rings for fast and easy use on set. They offer a smooth focus fall off and pleasing circular bokeh thanks to the 16 blade iris. They also incorporate the new Zeiss eXtended lens data technology that combines the Cooke/i* Technology and the ZEISS distortion and shading lens data to allow more options in post-production for compositing and VFX. The Supreme Prime Radiance lenses enable cinematographers to create beautiful, consistent, and controlled flares, while offering all the attributes of a modern cinema lens: large-format coverage, high speed, as well as smooth and reliable focus. These lenses are available to rent or sub-rent from Cine Visuals in full sets, partial sets, or as single lenses.
