The Caldwell Chameleon Anamorphic prime lenses offer a retro anamorphic look with modern mechanics. The entire 1.79x squeeze set (32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, and 100mm) will cover super 35 sensors and offer the traditional optical aberrations and flare characteristics unique to front anamorphic lenses. These lenses fill the ever increasing demand for Large Format Anamorphics, while delivering milestone worthy performance that can only be achieved through entirely new and purpose-built designs. Although there are limited true LF anamorphics currently, these lenses represent a no-compromises solution in a limited pool of options The Caldwell Chameleon primes use a unique anamorphic focus system, allowing compression in the vertical plane only.
