The Canon Rangefinder/Dream Lenses at Cine Visuals, are a full set of 9 vintage spherical film photography lenses, rehoused by TLS, with focal lengths ranging 19mm – 135mm. These lenses are rehoused with LPL mounts, allowing them to be used with modern large format cameras. This is a unique and highly sought-after set of vintage film lenses. The 50mm āDream Lensā is particularly notable for its exceptional optical design, fast T1.1 aperture, and enchanting amber lens flares, and swirly, enchantingly dramatic bokeh. These lenses represent a milestone of vintage LF oriented optics, combined with spectacular modern LPL housing, filling the need for vintage offerings in the world of LF cinematography. The rehousing process completely preserves the original optical designs and image circles, ensuring that the lenses maintain their unrepeatable look. The golden 1960ās single-layer coatings are preserved, adding to the distinctly organic skin tones and flares. The Canon Rangefinders are perfect for film or photography enthusiasts looking for a touch of nostalgia and exceptional vintage image quality in their cinema work. These lenses can be used to great effect on their own, or can be complimented by vintage zooms such as the Cooke Varotal or K35 zoom.
