Description
Cooke Anamorphic SF 1.8x Full Frame Primes are a set of 8 professional cinema lenses designed for large format productions. Cine Visuals offers rental on both full sets and individual lenses, ranging focal lengths from 32mm – 180mm. These lenses offer a similar aesthetic feel to the original Cooke Anamorphics, with far improved mechanics and coverage. The “SF” version of the lenses contain coatings that give a more pronounced, classic blue horizontal flare when light shines directly into the lens. DP’s favor these lenses for their extremely versatile character; flaring, sharpness and distortion change significantly with selected T stop, resulting in DP’s celebrating the ability to get dynamic results with a single lens set. These lenses pair very well with the Cooke 2x Zoom 35-140mm and a 1.5x extender, allowing it to similarly cover full frame. These primes combined with their sister zoom lenses, provide a full fledged, full frame anamorphic solution with the legendary “Cooke Look”.
