Description
The Cooke Panchro/i Classic S35 & FF Prime Lenses are a modern redesign of the vintage Cooke Speed Panchro lenses from the 1920s to 1960s. They have 12 focal lengths ranging 18mm- 152mm. The 65mm forward are exact optical duplicates of the original lenses, with the 18mm-50mm being faithfully modified versions for full frame coverage. Updated with modern coatings and advanced mechanical designs, these lenses truly offer the best of both worlds when it comes to vintage lenses with modern features. Vintage designs paired with modern manufacturing enables an unparalleled build quality. When looking for vintage full-frame options, there are no other lenses that offer the same level of modern build quality and vintage aesthetics. The Panchro Classic FF’s are not emulations, recreations or copies; they are grandiose successors to some of the most famous and iconic lenses on the planet.
These Cooke lenses can be paired with either the new Varotal/i Zooms, or the original Vintage Cooke Varotals for a complimentary zoom. Like all of Cooke’s modern offerings, the Panchros and Varotals come equipped with Cookes i/Data for SFX and metadata capturing.
