Zero Optik Canon K35

Prime - Spherical - Full Frame

product details
Canon K35 Prime Lenses are a set of high-performance, full-frame spherical lenses rehoused by Zero Optik. The set includes 7 focal lengths of 14mm, 18mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm. They have been color matched and remain very consistent across the rental sets. The Canon K35โ€™s are known for their vintage character, unique bokeh, painterly skin tones and smooth focus fall-off. They have lower contrast compared to modern lenses and produce beautiful purple and orange flares. The Zero Optik K35 lenses are painstakingly rehoused in Los Angeles and are a standout due to their superb mechanics, ergonomics and reliability. With production of these lenses beginning in the early 1970โ€™s, they have been used on films such as Alien, Barry Lyndon, Her, American Hustle, and The Handmaidโ€™s Tale. The Zero Optik K35 lenses are available to rent or sub-rent from Cine Visuals in full sets, partial sets, or as single lenses.

Handling & Adaptability

The inclusion of a single aspheric optical element makes it visually compatible with both the multi-aspheric Leica Summilux-C and the spherical Leica Summicron-C primes. With nine lenses in six groups and apochromatic correction, outstanding resolution and contrast can be achieved all the way to the edge of the frame.
