ARRIโEnsล Primes are engineered for largeโformat capture, offering edgeโtoโedge sharpness and faithful tonal rendition. With superior close focus, gentle fall-off and minimal breathing, they produce natural images in any shooting situation thanks to a fast T2.1 aperture and precision-aligned optical design.
Handling & Adaptability
Each ARRIโEnsล prime focal length shares a uniform, compact housing (117โโโ207โmm long, 95โโโ156โmm front diameter) with identical gear placements and a 318ยฐ focus rotation, enabling rapid lens swaps and precise focus pulls. The ARRI LPL mountโs shorter flange focal depth reduces size and weight, while optional 1.4X/2X EnsลโExtenders extend reach without changing the core lens body.
Flare & Bokeh
With single-layer coatings, Ensล Primes deliver subtle vintage flare characteristics without overpowering the image. Bokeh is stunning, and the fast aperture yields creamy, outโofโfocus backgrounds โperfect for expressive storytelling.
Image Circle
ARRIโEnsล Primes fully cover largeโformat/openโgate and standard fullโframe sensors when mounted in ARRIโs LPL mount. The same image circle is more than ample for Superโ35 modes.
