product details
The Zero Optik Olympus Primes are a set of 18 spherical still photography lenses from the 1970s which have been rehoused by Zero Optic, with focal lengths ranging from 18mm to 350mm. These are unique among photo lenses for their combination of compact size, and consistent performance. They produce sharp images with warm and smooth flares, and bloomy highlights even when rendering sharp centers. They offer Full Frame and S35 coverage, T1.2 max aperture as well as PL, LPL & EF mounts. These lenses are a popular choice among film and photography enthusiasts because of their clear image quality, warm gentle flares, and undeniable character, and it translates perfectly to cinema work. With recent work including FX’s “Atlanta” it's easy to see what kind of stunning results can be had from leaning into the character of these lenses. For a zoom counterpart, these can be paired with the Angenieux EZ Zooms. These lenses are available to rent or sub-rent from Cine Visuals in full sets, partial sets, or as single lenses.

Image Performance
Handling & Adaptability
The inclusion of a single aspheric optical element makes it visually compatible with both the multi-aspheric Leica Summilux-C and the spherical Leica Summicron-C primes. With nine lenses in six groups and apochromatic correction, outstanding resolution and contrast can be achieved all the way to the edge of the frame.
