Available in eight focal lengths: 13mm T2.7, 19mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 80mm, 110mm (all T1.4), and 140mm T2.0, they are built to combine large-format coverage with vintage-inspired personality. Image Fidelity & Focus
MasterBuilt SuperScope primes produce painterly tonality and expressive flares. With medium contrast and moderate sharpness, they are sharp enough for digital workflows, giving images a filmic softness that avoids digital bite. Focus falloff is smooth, dimensional and measured in a way that draws attention naturally toward the subject. Chromatic aberrations are present, but a touch of the chromatic signature is left intact as part of the aesthetic.
Handling & Adaptability
Mechanically, the SuperScopes are robust and dependable, with PL mounts, geared rings, and consistent housings. Their weight and size are moderate, making them versatile for handheld, gimbal, or studio setups. Each lens boasts uniform weight, shape, T-stop, and close focus, ensuring consistency and precision (T1.4/12″).
Flare & Bokeh
Flares are colorful and expressive, with cinematic streaks and blooms that enhance rather than overwhelm. Bokeh is rounded, creamy and full of character, with edges that breathe life into out-of-focus areas.
