product details
Century S2000 Canon Tilt Shift Primes are specialty lenses with a unique visual signature, offering the creative control of tilt-shift photography in a robust cine housing. Based on Canonโs legendary TS-E still lenses, they use selective focus and perspective correction, enabling dramatic miniature-style effects or correction of converging verticals in architecture. They produce striking imagery for miniaturized cityscapes or stylized dream sequences, for example. The set includes focal lengths of 24mm, 45mm, and 90mm, all T4 and all capable of tilt and shift adjustments. Available for rental or sub-rental at Cine Visuals.

Technical Specs Table
Century S2000 Canon Tilt Shift
Image Fidelity & Focus
Image rendering is sharp and contrasty, with high image fidelity inherited from Canon optics. Falloff is controllable depending on tilt angle, while chromatic aberration is minimal due to advanced optical correction.
Handling & Adaptability
Century S2000 Canon Tilt Shift Primes are fairly compact and lightweight despite their complexity. Ergonomics are improved with cine housings for follow focus and matte box compatibility. Adaptability is excellent: they mount easily to PL-converted bodies or EF with modifications.
Flare & Bokeh
Bokeh becomes surreal and painterly at wide tilts. Flares are clean but can bloom when highlights are skewed off axis.
Image Circle
The image circle exceeds Full Frame/VV, covering large sensors and allowing for generous tilt and shift movements.
Cinematic Heritage
Invented in the late 1990s and early 2000s for commercials and experimental filmmaking, these lenses brought still-photography effects into cinema. They were developed by Century Optics (later Schneider Century) in collaboration with Canon.
