The B Speed Uncoated primes are modified versions of the original B Speeds, with coatings removed to enhance flare and reduce contrast. They exaggerate all the character of the standard version of Zeiss B Speeds, and are often chosen for sequences requiring heavy atmosphere, nostalgia, or surrealism, and their imperfections are embraced as expressive tools, turning technical flaws into visual poetry.
