product details
TLS Leica R / Cinescopes further adds to the selection of legendary vintage rehoused Leica Glass. The Leica R’s are known for their warm skin tones, surprisingly contemporary flares, and tasteful falloff. Across the focal lengths they exhibit great contrast, but still react partially to heavy background light. The wider ends exhibit wonderful center sharpness but still provide some falloff around the edges, and the longer lenses are sharp edge to edge and produce spectacularly unique and emotive bokeh.
Combining legendary looks with legendary housings, TLS improves the close focus, makes these lenses lightweight, and of course adds a level of continuity and mechanical robustness seldom found elsewhere. All 12 lenses have a front diameter of 110mm, and a massive image circle to cover everything from 16mm to Alexa OG and Sony Venice. Combine these lenses with the Leica R 70-180mm Zoom and you have a full fledged, full frame machine.
Cine Visuals offers you the TLS Leica R / Cinescope Prime Lenses in packages of singles, multiple lenses, and even multiple sets for your rental or sub-rental. Contact Cine Visuals today for a quote for the TLS Leica R / Cinescope Prime Lenses.

Image Performance
Handling & Adaptability
The inclusion of a single aspheric optical element makes it visually compatible with both the multi-aspheric Leica Summilux-C and the spherical Leica Summicron-C primes. With nine lenses in six groups and apochromatic correction, outstanding resolution and contrast can be achieved all the way to the edge of the frame.
