Angénieux IOP Filters

The Angénieux IOP Internal Filters expand the creative possibilities of the Optimo Prime series, giving cinematographers the ability to shape image character directly within the lens. Installed internally using the dedicated IOP tool kit, these filters include options such as Clear Coated/Uncoated, Glimmerglass, Black Pro-Mist, Black Satin, and Low Contrast. By placing filtration inside the optical path, rather than in front of the lens, IOP delivers subtle yet powerful control over flare, diffusion, and contrast—producing visual qualities that can’t be replicated with standard external filters. Fully reversible and designed with Angénieux’s renowned optical precision, the system allows DPs to fine-tune mood and texture on set while maintaining the reliability and consistency expected from the Optimo line.
