ARRI Ensō Vintage Elements

The ARRI Ensō Vintage Elements are interchangeable optical modules that magnetically attach to the rear of Ensō prime lenses, enabling rapid external tuning of the lens look without rehousing. Designed to expand creative flexibility, the kit includes six elements—three “positive” (P) types that soften edges and introduce swirl, and three “negative” (N) types that create more fringing and contrast in highlights. Subtle shifts to focus scale, T-stop, and focal length are recorded as metadata, and ARRI’s Hi-5 hand unit can auto-compensate focus when the element is changed. The kit also includes a Creative Adapter allowing users to build unique elements. Built with precision mechanics and designed for full integration into on-set workflows, the Vintage Elements let cinematographers tailor the classic Ensō look to each shot.
