Tokina Cinema Vista zooms combine prime-like performance and variable focal length convenience, extending Tokina’s professional cine offerings. The zooms are designed to match the Vistas in color and rendering, and they integrate seamlessly, with full frame coverage. In four zoom ranges – 11-20mm T2.9, 16-28mm T3.0 MKII, 25-75mm T2.9, and 50-135mm T2.9 MKII – they are available for rental or sub-rental at Cine Visuals.

Tokina Cinema Vista zooms are sharp across the frame, with smooth tonal rolloff and natural color reproduction. Contrast is consistent and moderate, making them cinematic rather than overly clinical. They offer strong sharpness and smooth falloff across their ranges. Chromatic aberrations are minimal, though edge softness can occur at wide-open.
Flare & Bokeh
Flares are attractive, with gentle blooming, and bokeh remains round and consistent through the zoom range.
Handling & Adaptability
Mechanics are robust, with consistent front diameters and cine-standard gearing. Like the primes, the Vista zooms are heavy, with 114mm fronts and long focus throws, making them suitable for studio production.
Image Circle
With a 30mm image circle, these zooms cover Full Frame and VistaVision sensors, providing flexibility for large-format productions.
Cinematic Heritage
Introduced in the late 2010s, the Vista zooms complete Tokina’s large-format ecosystem.
